An opportunity for discussion dedicated to businesses, the local area and the main challenges facing the industrial sector in Emilia. These were the themes at the heart of the event held on Friday 15 May at Modula’s headquarters in Fiorano Modenese, which hosted the Ordinary General Meeting – private session of Confindustria Emilia. A significant event for the life of the association and the local business community.
The meeting opened with a welcome address by Franco Stefani, founder and president of Modula, who welcomed the Association’s representatives with a speech. In his remarks, Mr Stefani presented Modula’s profile, the company’s growth trajectory and the objectives guiding its development: technological innovation, presence in international markets, strengthening of production capacity and the enhancement of skills.
Following this, Sonia Bonfiglioli, president of Confindustria Emilia, presented her report, focusing on the key issues affecting businesses today, not just those in Emilia: energy, technological and digital transformation, employment, safety, sustainability, training, skills, markets and new supply chains. During the proceedings, sectoral assemblies were also held to renew their respective governing bodies, which will lead the association’s activities for the four-year period 2026–2030.
For Modula, hosting this event represented a significant opportunity for dialogue with the business community of Emilia and with an association network that plays a central role in the region’s growth, competitiveness and attractiveness.
