This page describes the methods used for website management in relation to the personal data of the users who visit it.
This is done by means of the information notice provided in compliance with Art. 13 of Leg. Decree 196/2003 - Privacy code - to the individuals who interact with the web services of the company, that can be accessed via the Internet from the address:
which corresponds to the home page of the official corporate website.
The information notice is provided only in relation to this website and not to other websites that may be accessed by the user via the links available.
The information notice is also based on Recommendation No. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, represented by the Working Party established by Art. 29 of Directive No. 95/46/CE, adopted on 17 May 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for collecting personal data on-line, and in particular the methods, time periods and nature of the information that the data controllers shall provide to the users when these connect to web pages, regardless of the purposes for which they connected to the same.
Following consultation of this website, we may process data concerning identified or identifiable individuals.
The Data Controller is Modula S.p.A., represented by its pro tempore legal representative.
PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING
Data processing in relation to the web services of this website occurs at the registered office of the Company and is performed only by the technical personnel of the Department in charge of data processing or by the persons in charge of random maintenance operations.
No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated.
The personal data of the users that send requests for information materials (information bulletins, CD-roms, catalogues, price lists, responses to queries, sundry materials etc.) are used for the sole purpose of providing the service requested.
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
The information systems and the software procedures used for website running acquire personal data as part of their standard operation; transmission of some of such data is an inherent feature of Internet communication protocols.
Such information is not collected in order to be related to identified interested parties. However, because of their nature such data may, through associations with other data held by third parties, allow user identification.
This category of data includes: the user's IP address or domain name of the computer used to access the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the resources requested, the time of query, the method used to submit the query to the Server, the size of the files received in response to the query, the digit code identifying the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the user’s operating system and computer environment.
The above data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information concerning the use of the website, and to monitor its proper operation and are immediately deleted after processing. The data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of possible IT crimes committed to the detriment of the website: subject to this possible event, so far the data on web contacts are not kept for more than seven days.
Data voluntarily provided by the user
Optional, express and voluntary sending of e-mails to the address shown on this website shall lead to the subsequent acquisition of the sender's e-mail address, required to respond to their queries, and of any other personal data provided in the mail.
Specific summary information notices shall be progressively reported or displayed on the website pages intended for certain services on demand.
OPTIONAL PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA
Subject to the information given on navigation data, the user is free to provide or not provide his personal data.
Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to satisfy the user's requests.
DATA PROCESSING METHODS
Personal data shall be processed using automated means and for the time period strictly required to achieve the purposes for which such data have been collected.
Special safety measures are observed to prevent data loss or illegitimate or improper use as well as unauthorised accesses to such data.
RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED
The data subjects have the right to obtain, at any time, confirmation on the existence or non-existence of their personal data, to be informed on their content and origin, to verify their correctness or request that such data be supplemented, updated or corrected (see Art. 7 of Leg. Decree 196/2003).
In accordance with the same article, you have the right to request the deletion, conversion to anonymous form or blocking of the information processed in violation of the law, as well as to object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of your personal data.
Your requests shall be addressed to the Data Controller or to the Data Manager, Mr Juri Torreggiani (see below).
