Free screening for melanoma prevention for its employees

Safety and health of people who work in the company: these are Modula's priorities.

For this reason, the company has decided to partner with ANT and offer its employees a screening visit for the prevention of melanoma.
Since 1985, the ANT foundation is the largest non-profit organization in Italy for free home social and health care for cancer patients and is committed to primary diagnosis and early and early prevention in various areas, concerning skin and thyroid neoplasms, gynecological and mammary, oral cavity and testicle.

The screening will be open to all employees on a voluntary basis and will take place at the company clinic. It will be a simple non-invasive dermatological examination (made with the aid of dermatoscopy), which will be conducted by a dermatology specialist from the ANT Oncological Prevention Unit.

“This is only the latest activity that the company is engaged in the fight against health” underlines the HR Manager, Giorgia Ghirardelli “Our goal is to provide the training and tools suitable to carry out the work safely. For us, the well-being of the company starts from that of those who work."

In mid-June, two days of vaccinations against Covid-19 were organized (again on a voluntary basis) and subsequently the charity run "Modula Run, Bike & Fun!" the proceeds of which were donated to the Angela Serra Association for cancer research.
