The barcode reader is generally wireless, the base on which it rests and recharges is instead connected to the Copilot console via a USB port.
This means that, even when the tray is very long, the operators can move freely along the entire width of the tray and read the desired items in a practical and fast way.
Barcode scanners can also be used only to confirm orders and / or login as a user.
