Grandpak is a leading Chinese company in the production of brewing and beverage equipment. For decades, it has stood out for its philosophy: offering European-quality products at competitive prices. This vision has made the brand synonymous with excellence, not only in China but also internationally.
Challenges of Traditional Warehouse Management
The warehouse was managed using traditional shelving across approximately 300 m², requiring manual item searches. Staff had to rely on memory and printed labels to locate materials, which slowed down operations and increased the risk of errors. Additionally, inventory and stock control were slow and labor-intensive processes.
The Decision to Automate with Modula
In 2022, Grandpak installed its first Modula vertical warehouse, designated for storing electrical components and hardware. After more than a year of use, the results were clear:
• A dramatic reduction in space, from 300 m² to 20 m²
• Guided picking with elimination of errors thanks to the integrated Modula WMS software
• Complete traceability of operations
• Significantly improved order and safety
Subsequently, a second Modula unit was added to manage precision tools and mechanical components.
“With Modula’s automated systems, we’ve revolutionized our warehouse. Automation now allows us to work more precisely, neatly, and efficiently. It’s a fundamental step forward in supporting our growth.
