Automatic door

When the Modula automatic warehouse brings the desired tray into the bay, the rear shows the inside of the Modula, exactly at the height of the warehouse mouth.

For aesthetic reasons and to make the warehouse even safer, we have created an automatic closing door.

The automatic door is a motorized device, behind the picking bay close to the internal part of the machine, consisting of a single panel as wide as the bay and operated by an asynchronous motor controlled by an inverter.

Transmission takes place by means of two belts placed on both sides of the door in order to avoid imbalances during handling. In addition, there are two microswitches which, activated by their cams, signal to the control unit whether the automatic door is open or closed.

The advantages of the automatic door:

Greater safety for stored materials that are not accessible when the machine is off or unattended
Less noise in the area in which it operates therefore greater comfort for operators
Less amount of pollutants from the external environment that can penetrate the machine
Greater cleanliness of the stored material
Less heat exchanges and thermal changes inside the machine

For Lift technologies, the automatic closing door is compulsory in configurations with double internal bay or overhead bay, and optional in other cases.
For Slim technologies, on the other hand, a manual closing door can be fitted.
