The device consists of two electromagnets positioned on dedicated supports in the bay area, and counterpart plates attached to the side of every tray, aligning with the electromagnets. When a tray is positioned in the bay, the system automatically activates the electromagnets, securing the tray by attracting the counterpart plates.
This mechanism ensures the tray remains stable during picking and replenishment operations. Once the operation is complete, the electromagnets deactivate, releasing the tray for retrieval into the machine. This device can be installed on both internal and external bays.
