When we think of bees we often associate them with honey, colorful flowers and nature.
It may be professional distortion on our part, but at Modula we find bees fascinating because of the coordination and precision with which they manage the hive. Every action is studied in detail, every movement is part of a mechanism of efficiency and order. Just like in a business, so much so that even bees have their own storekeeper!
When the nectar is turned into honey, it is stored and sealed in these little cells that remind us so much of the compartments in the Modula Next.
But the similarities with our warehouses do not end there; here are a few more examples ✨
- Bees must be able to store enough honey to feed colonies of about 50,000 individuals just as Modula Lift can store up to 80,000 kg of material 💪
- Depending on the function of each cell, bees build them in different sizes as well as the compartments of the Modula Next can have completely different sizes depending on the material to be stored
- Bees create a flow of air to regulate the temperature and humidity inside the hive, so how can we not mention the Modula Climate Control, which with its thermal insulation system and a refrigeration system is the ideal solution for many companies in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, electronics and chemical industries?
The world of bees is a continuous source of inspiration for those of us who work in logistics, so today we want to take our space to celebrate them and thank them for the wonderful work they do 🐝
