Modula awarded “Foreign investor of the year” by the Maine International Trade Center and new ISO certification

Modula was named 2020 “Foreign Direct Investor of the Year” by the Maine International Trade Center (MITC). This is an award that is presented to foreign-owned companies that have decided to invest in Maine.
In 2016 Modula spent over $10 million to renovate its plant in Lewiston, Maine, USA. The latest production technologies were implemented with a view to Industry 4.0 and this resulted in Modula being the only manufacturer of vertical and horizontal storage solutions in the United States.
An additional manufacturing plant was recently opened in Franklin, Ohio, to further expand production capacity. These investments are intended to guarantee American customers quicker deliveries and installation times as well as an increasingly widespread support network.

"We are absolutely proud and happy to receive this award from MITC," said Modula USA CEO Antonio Pagano. “Our company is investing heavily in the US market and in Maine. We want to create a good environment, a company where people can learn and grow and bring value to the local community."

Modula is proud to announce that its plant in Lewiston, Maine is now ISO 9001:2015 certified. This certification is a formal recognition that the company's products and services are of high quality and reliable, as evidenced, among other things, by the careful and continuous review of its processes and procedures.
